Behind the lens
Dan Emmerman, his wife, and two children moved to the Shenandoah Valley in 2006 from North Carolina. From the days of film to the digital age, photography has been a part of Dan’s life for over two decades. Dan has continued his education in his craft as this art form has evolved over time. Dan enjoys all the Valley offers, including great food and great people, but he especially appreciates his access to capturing its dark night skies, the landscapes and vistas of the Appalachians, and the vibrant fall foliage. Speaking of fall, if you appreciate a warm bowl of chili on a crisp autumn evening, be sure to ask Dan about his role on the championship-winning team Brothers from Another Mother Chili.
